Justin Doil

Camper, Justin Doil, is enjoying a ice cream from Ben & Jerry's in downtown Athens. The heat and so much shopping has caused him to take a break.

This derby racer is practicing for her upcoming race. She is racing her other teammates so they can prepare for the upcoming race this weekend.

Jess Double Blood

This alumni student, Jess Rogers is giving double blood to the Red Cross at the blood drive. He was not nervous at all. Jess tries to give blood every 52 days.

Tim YOLO

On one of the first days of camp Tim Tukes made himself a motto called YOLO (You Only Live Once). His hand signal is indicating his motto. Tim is walking around Athens taking in all of the beauty and adventure.

Shyra Fields, and I (Macdeezy) visited Jennifer A. Berry at the Horticulture Farm in Watkinsville, Ga. The farm consist of an organic berry and peach garden and multiple bee hives. 

Red&Black


Toured the Red & Black office yesterday and it was really cool! They give a lot of their time to put out a great paper! I got a lot of great advice from the Editor and the staffers there! There is a new copy out as of today! Go pick it up!!!

First night at camp the gleeks and I went bowling at a local bowling in Athens. This event gave us a chance to bond and have friendly competition. 
Who knew giving blood could be so much fun? I was covering the National Blood Drive in Honor of Aimee Copeland and guess who showed up? Hairy Dawg!!! All species are raising awareness to help Aimee and her family.

Pizza Please!

This is what I had yesterday for lunch! It was so delicious, I have a new respect for downtown Athens. The pizza had like spinach, feta, basil, pesto, olives, carrots, and garlic - so delicious! Every bite was a new experience! LOL.
